GOLF
Within ten miles there are three golf courses (Abersoch,
Nefyn
and Pwllheli)
providing plenty of choice and variety for all levels.
HORSE RIDING
Enjoy riding on the beach or a trek in the countryside.
Pony trekking is available from one of the many
nearby stables.
ART GALLERY
Visit the art gallery and historical house at Plas
Glyn y Weddw in Llanbedrog. A fascinating house
and great place to enjoy afternoon tea.
GLASFRYN
PARC
Go-Karting, quad trekking, archery and fishing are
just some of the activities available at Glasfryn
Parc. There are two go-karting circuits –
one senior, one junior.
Junior Karts are available for children aged from
8-14yrs and double karts are available for either
the disabled or for children aged from 3yrs when
accompanied by an adult.
PORTMERION VILLAGE
AND GARDENS

FFESTINIOG RAILWAY
World famous narrow gauge railway runs from the
sea at Porthmadog into the mountains at Blaenau

SHOPPING
An enormous range of shops situated closeby selling
everything from locally produced arts, crafts and
jewelry to clothes and food. There is also a garden
centre, a hardware shop and several small nic-nak
shops. Perfect for the casual browser or serious

located for touring the many historical sites on
the Llyn Peninsula from the spectacular castles
to the Welsh Language Centre at Nant Gwythern.
Markets
- Market day in Pwllheli is on Wednesday, and the
town comes alive, bustling with activity. From fresh
fruit and veg, local meats and produce and fashion
clothing, there’s something for everyone.
It is one of the busiest markets in the country,
with a wide selection of goods at competitive prices.
