All prices include sailing gear,
buoyancy aids, footwear, insurance and full safety
boat cover.

The courses we offer include:
1) Full Sailing Course - RYA (Level 1 &
2) Start Sailing and Basic Skills
Level 1
Prepares you to assist in sailing a dinghy
- 2 x 2.5 hour lessons.
£160 per course per head
Level 2
This programme is suited to those wanting to achieve
a competent level of sailing ability.
The course contains the following elements:
Tacking, Gybing, Going to Windward, Reaching,
Running, Capsize, Rules of the Road, Man Overboard,
Tides, Clothing, Rigging, Weather, The Five Essentials.
a) Level 2 -Custom Course
- Choice of boat, scheduled to suit you
Availability: All Season
Boats used: Topper sport 14, Laser
Funboats, Laser Pico, Laser Bahia & Hunter

Number of Lessons: Three x 2.5hrs in
a Laser Funboat OR four x 2.5 hours in the other
boats.
Cost: £240 per course per head
in a Laser Funboat
£320 per course per head in other boats.
b) Level 2 - Scheduled Course
Availability: School holidays, Monday
- Thursday mornings and Tuesday - Friday afternoons.
Boats used:Laser Funboats (our recommended
boat for beginners).
Number of Lessons: Four x 2.5hrs
Cost: £240 per course per head
2) 1 or 2.5 Hour Introduction
£45 a head for 1 hour
£80 a head for 2.5 hours
A basic introduction to sailing
and will cover the following:
a) The 3 points
of sailing
b) Launching
c) 5 essentials
d) Tacking
e) The "no go"
zone
f) Coming ashore
g) Capsize theory
It will consist of a short land
briefing, followed by sailing in Laser Funboats,
Laser Pico or Topper Sport 14.
Ideal for those who want to get
a flavour for sailing and to be on the water quickly
and safely where time is limited. This is by no
means a comprehensive lesson. See option 1 if you
would like more in-depth tuition.
Option 2 may be upgraded to a full course.
3) Adult Joyride
£25 a head.
We can offer a 30-minute accompanied sail around
Abersoch Bay in a Dart 16. This is a very safe
and enjoyable way to get even the most nervous
customer out on the water.
4) High Performance Catamaran/Dinghy
Lesson
1 hour: £50 a head
2.5 hours: £85 a head
This is for competent sailors
wishing to learn and develop skills in the following
areas:
a) Spinnakers
b) Trapeze
c) Heavy Weather
sailing
d) Racing
5) RYA Advanced Courses:
Day Sailing, Sailing With Spinnakers, Seamanship
Skills
These courses take you beyond the basic skills
of Level 2, thus having a Level 2 certificate
is a pre-requisite. 3 x 2.5 hour lessons
All: £240 per course per head.
6) Coastal Sailing Course
2.5 hours: £85 a head
This will cover skills in the following areas:
a) Basic seamanship
b) Navigation
c) Anchoring
d) Tidal skills
e) Sailing under engine (if applicable)
Ideal for sailors who have their RYA Level 2
but have limited or no coastal experience.
