'The
adventure game run by Abersoch Sailing School was
a great success. Competitive, challenging and great
fun, it was very different from the average corporate
event. We are still talking about it months later!'

1. Mission Impossible
Mission impossible is an exciting game designed to stimulate
competitive spirit and close teamwork. It takes the
form of a race played in small teams of 2 or 3. Each
team is appointed a ‘secret agent’ (one
of our instructors!) who will ensure they are fully
equipped to play effectively.
The teams must use sea kayaks, sailing dinghies and
powerboats to acquire the resources necessary to complete
their mission. To complete Mission Impossible, the competitors
must work effectively in their teams, solve problems
and use their initiative. Having fun is mandatory!
School Principal, Mike Maylor, will oversee the mission
and award team points during the game. Our instructors
are on hand to help out and ensure everybody is safe
whilst out on the water. Morning or afternoon sessions are available, a typical agenda may look like this:
12.30 pm Arrival and lunch
1.30 pm Safety briefing and skills training
3.30pm Afternoon tea
4.00pm Mission Impossible race
5.00pm Prize giving ceremony and drinks
5.30pm Close
£115 per head with lunch. |
“We wanted something different from our
corporate activity; team building with the emphasis
on FUN. Abersoch Sailing School certainly provided
that with their Mission Impossible themed event. Mastering
sailing boats, speed boats and sea kayaks provided
a real cocktail of excitement and competition, with
some useful skills learned into the bargain. Our whole
team had a fantastic time thanks to Mike and his team.”
